Problem
Client was functioning as the sole Executive and contracted Engineer for an 8-year software startup operation. Approximately 90% of revenue was flowing in from a single customer looking to scale back business with the client. Client needed Executive assistance planning future business in order to keep the business operating.
Resolution
Worked with Client over a 2-year period to plan and execute every strategic aspect of the business, including overall corporate strategy, sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and customer support. New business lines were created and the Client transitioned from an Engineering role to focus 100% on running and growing the business. In addition, customer relations were significantly improved, resulting not only in increased business from the primary customer mentioned above, but recovery of a new relationship in crisis that ended up increasing annual revenue by 18%.
